Too much Hawaii food writing gets the image right and the details wrong.
CurtisJ built CurtisJCooks to close that gap. The goal is not to turn local food into a museum piece or a vacation prop. It is to make the dishes readable, cookable, and recognizable to the people who care about them.
That means stronger recipes, clearer ingredient choices, and enough cultural context to know why a dish matters before you try to recreate it.
